Bring Your Dog to Work Day is a nationwide event. It has been taking place each year since 2014. This year it falls on Friday the 21st of June. Dogs love spending time with their humans and research shows that spending time with pets helps reduce the stress levels in a workplace and improve productivity. Therefore, taking your dog into work, even if only for a celebration day once a year, gives dogs some recognition and shows them how much we love and depend on them for our happiness and well being.
Our two dogs, Snout and Miss Muppet, get to spend most days with us in our home office. Furthermore they definitely jolly us along, remind us when it’s time to have a brain break and get some fresh air.
Share My Pet visited some lucky pups around Nelson who get to join their owners at work. This year, we have included a few more pooches.
