Hello! We are a family who recently moved from Sri Lanka to New Zealand. I’m writing on behalf of my two sons, aged 11 and 8, who absolutely adore dogs. Back in Sri Lanka, we had a wonderful Golden Retriever and two loving stray dogs that we rescued through an organization dedicated to improving the wellbeing of street dogs through rescue, rehoming, sterilization, and vaccination programs.
My boys formed strong bonds with our dogs and missed having furry friends around. Since our move to New Zealand, our lifestyle has changed, and it’s been difficult for us to have our own dog due to the expenses involved. However, my boys are very keen on having a shared dog now.
We would love to be able to share our love and care with a dog again. Attached is a photo showing just how much my boys enjoyed spending time with our dogs in Sri Lanka. We look forward to the opportunity to share the joy and responsibility of looking after a dog once more.
