Kia Ora! My name is EC and I am a migrant from America that has been in Aotearoa for about eight months. Prior to coming, I had a beautiful dog named Chompy who passed the year prior. I had had her since she was eight weeks old until she passed at 12, so we really grew up together and a big piece of me is missing now that she’s gone. I am disabled by complex post traumatic stress disorder and am required to stay at home mostly, but would love to have a Covid safe yard hang out with a loving doggy periodically at my fully fenced yard. My husband, Ben (he/him) and our daughter Elliott (she/her), who is seven years old, would eventually probably also want to join…they both really loved Chompy too and miss having dog time!
