We live in Spring Grove, near Brightwater in Nelson. I am a a retired hairdresser and now a keen Gardner with a passion for Roses. My 2 wee furbies, are keen gardeners too. We have a large well fenced section that the girls run freely in. Unfortunately due to ongoing health issues, I am not able to take the dogs out and about much anymore. Poppi in particular loves playing with other dogs and has been well socialized as a youngster going to doggie day care and being a cuddle pup for dementia patients. We bought another pup to keep her company at home but Bella doesn’t like to play much, and Poppie is getting bored with her. So we would like to find someone who could give Pops a change of scenery and some fun play times. Either with another small dog or just a vibrant person that could have some fun times with.
Bells the princess Yorkie, is a spoilt wee girl. She doesn’t like getting her feet wet or socializing with other dogs. She is a bit of a couch potatoe and loves being the centre of attention. The perfect lap dog.
They are both good friends but don’t mind being on their own. Bells travels well and goes anywhere in a handbag. Lol.
Pops does not like traveling and hyperventilate when doing so.
I have luekemia and are heading towards treatment again In ChCh soon, and we are looking for someone to be able to look after either both dogs or 1 of these dogs for 1 week in September and then keep contact whenever possible for ongoing doggie times and then @ month when I have a transplant.
Naturally our wee ones are very special to us, and they are what makes my life so worth living, so the best care and person is required.
I don’t mind doing a recipertating arrangement during week days as I am normally home most days.
