Hello!
My name is Maria and I have recently moved to NZ from the UK.
I work as a midwife 3 days a week, so have some time to spare and would love to spend some time helping look after animals when needed. I have a dog back in the UK, and helped to train him from a puppy so feel confident around dogs, and happy to look after younger dogs as well. I had a variety of small animals growing up, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats and mice, so am comfortable with small furry things.
I have worked on a variety of farms, so am comfortable with sheep, cows, alpacas and llamas and I used to teach horse riding many years ago so happy to help out with the larger animals as well!
Happy to stay overnight if needed to pet sit – sadly can’t bring animals back to where I live. I like to keep fit, so would be very happy to take a dog on a long walk, or just sit on the sofa with it and watch a movie.
