I am a French dad traveling to NZ to visit my 2 children Louise (14 yo) and André (12 yo) who currently live in Auckland. We will be staying just North of Albany in a bush cottage from 1 to 17 January 2024. We have a dog in France who brings us much joy, and the kids would absolutely love to look after your fury friend for a few hours, or simply go for a walk with you and your dog.
