I am a huge dog lover. My family currently own a very energetic Border Collie named Archie, but sadly he lives in another city and I miss him very much. As I live in an apartment here in Wellington, I’m unable to have a pet of my own. That is the reason I’ve signed up for Share my pet.
I need some quality furry friend time- I love taking them out for walks, and having some lovely snuggles and cuddles. I love everything about dogs and you will see my eyes light up when I meet your furry friend.
In 2019 I came back from 6 months overseas in Europe and the UK house sitting and looking after many dogs and the owners’ houses. This included 8 different housesitting assignments and each and every dog was different and had different requirements. Was lovely getting to know them all but not so lovely to leave them behind! I am comfortable with both small and big dog breeds. Having had several dogs myself I know about common behavioural problems and know how to deal with them. I am also very careful when I take dogs out and about especially around roads, children and other possible hazards.
I’m happy to take your dog for walks, dog-sit in your home, or housesit when you go on holiday. In the services I offer I will ensure your dog is walked, fed, given plenty of water, snuggles and had a play. I run my own online business so my schedule is very flexible and I work remotely from home.
