We have had dogs and cats in my family all my life. My husband and I have a beautiful farm near Thames with many acres of native bush and trails. Now that our family are grown up and gone, we are able to travel more, and it doesn’t seem right to adopt another dog if we are going to be away sometimes, and yet we really miss having a dog with us on our farm walks, and in the house. Share My Pet sounds like the most wonderful way for us to continue the joy of knowing and loving a dog again.
I was a National Show Jumping judge for the NZ Equestrian Federation for almost 10 years and was myself a competitor in eventing, and we still have one horse on our farm. We would welcome sharing our farm with another horse. Many horse groups come for trail rides on our farm.
