Ziggy the labradoodle is an absolute gem of a boy who’s been part of our whānau since he was just a wee pup. We’ve been taking him to Canterbury Canine Obedience Club every week since he was 12 weeks old, and he’s come such a long way with his training.
Ziggy’s brilliant with the kids and has a heart of gold, but lately, I’ve been feeling a bit stink about not giving him as much exercise as he needs. My hubby’s been pretty sick, which has thrown a spanner in the works for our usual routine. As a result, Ziggy’s been missing out on some of his walks and attention.
To be honest, he can be a bit of a handful on the lead – he does tend to pull a fair bit, but we’re working on that. It’s a work in progress, as they say! Despite this little quirk, he’s such a good boy and really deserves more outdoor time to burn off that boundless energy of his.
I reckon Ziggy would be over the moon if any of you lovely people fancied taking him for a walk now and then. He’s always up for a good adventure and would love some extra attention. If you’re keen to help out or just want to meet this lovable furball, give us a shout. Ziggy would be chuffed to bits, and we’d be so grateful for the extra hand.
