Kia Ora this is Koru and Nikau, two rescued farm dogs who are now about 6 and 7 years old. They are medium-large dogs, about 22kg and 28kg. They love exploring and exercise but are not particularly exciteable and are fine with children and other dogs.
They have lived with my partner and I in Nelson for 3-5 years, and are used to lots of walking, hiking, and company. Their most favourite place is chasing sticks at the beach but they love getting out and about anywhere.
We would love to have someone else to take them for extra walks, especially to the beach. Also, someone who may possibly be interested/able to dogsit or care for them when we go away, or to come take them for a walk when we are away for the day. They are not used to being left alone for more than a few hours at at time usually.
They would need someone who is confidant handling larger dogs.
