Bernie is a 5 month old Havanese (toy breed) puppy. He is low sheding, but requires daily grooming (brushing). He is a little bit shy at first but loves people and small dogs once he has built up a relationship with you.
I would love for him to meet some new people and small dogs to make friends. We would also be open to sending him to dog free households provided someone has experience caring for dog. We could do play dates at our house in Lower Hutt, your house, and reciprocal holiday arrangements – looking after small dogs (if Bernie and your dog get along of course) while their owners are away and being able to send Bernie to a nice home for company when we go away. There would be a lot of peace of mind for us and we would like to provide the same for new small dogs friends. He spends most of his time indoors and likes to just he near people.
Bernie is still learning how to walk on leash and at the moment these generally look like more sniff than walk due to his age, but he does love a sniffing adventure!
