Hi all! I’m Alex. I’m 21, from Wellington and have been living and studying in Christchurch on and off for the last 4 years. I love getting outdoors, I love animals and greatly miss my pets back home (cats, chickens, fish and a dog) especially as our dog passed a couple years ago and one of our cats last year.
Because studying is my main occupation, and I’m working casually at the moment I’m often free during parts of the day when furry friends might need a little extra love.
I’m a big fan of hiking and would love the motivation to get out there more so would be keen to take a dog with me (or adventurous cat). But are also happy to be a companion for your pet or pet sit.
Unfortunately, it’s not viable for me to have pets of my own in Christchurch at this time since I’m likely moving at the end of the year and know I don’t have the income or stable situation to provide for a pet. So, I’d love to take care of your pet/s instead!
I also can’t host dogs or cats as my flatmate is very allergic but does love bunnies so rabbits, guinea pigs etc are more than welcome.
