We’re Christene and Joey, a couple in our 20s and 30s living in Auckland. I’m currently studying full-time at AUT to become a counsellor and work part-time as a support worker, while Joey is a personal trainer. We both lead active lifestyles and love getting outdoors, especially for beach walks.
We’re huge dog lovers, but due to our current living situation, we’re unable to have one of our own right now which is why we’ve joined this app. We would love the opportunity to be able to give our love, time, and care to a furry friend in need of companionship.
We both have years of experience caring for dogs and grew up in dog-loving households. As an adult I had a Jack Russell/Papillon cross named Max who was with me throughout my childhood, and Joey had a Rottweiler named Cookie. Additionally, we have also cared for my dads dog on multiple occasions We’ve both been responsible adult dog owners, and you can rest assured that any dog in our care would be in good hands.
