Indy is an adventurous and smart mini-foxy x chihuahua. She’s more mini-foxy in temperament and build, so she’s hardy enough to go on adventures suited for a larger dog. She’s well-socialised (she has 4 human kids around), has great recall, and LOVES a day out. Indy’s happy on a lead and could keep up with you if you are a runner– we take her for a “walk” while we ride our electric scooter about 8km/hour, just to give you an idea. She’s also happy to go for a stroll just around the neighbourhood.
We’re looking for a carer for her for walks and trips, mostly, but if you really love her, we’d be happy for her to go visit/stay over at your place. Warning: she WILL sleep in your bed. She’s not a fussy sleeper who will keep you warm but won’t keep you awake. She hasn’t ever lived with other dogs, so we can’t say how she’d go if you have one at your place, but she’s fine with them around when she goes out. She will bug your cat, though, because she seems to think ours like to play with her as much as she does with them (spoiler: they don’t).
We got Indy before two of our babies came along, so she just doesn’t get out as much as she/we would like and as much as she once did. If you’re looking for an instant new best friend, come see Indy! Pick up ~St Clair.
