Even if you can’t have your own pet due to circumstances you can still interact with them in a safe and loving environment. Its an absolute win-win for both, people and pets!!!

This is such a great initiative run by the loveliest people! We have so much fun with Muppet and Snout and you can tell they enjoy it too  When we get our own dog we will definitely share them as we don’t want them to be bored and lonely while we’re at work?

My class has had the pleasure of Snout the Schnoodle in our school on a weekly basis. Snout has impacted on so many of my kids in such a positive way. She would just cruise around getting cuddles from everyone. Share my Pet is an amazing concept for everyone. It has been a pleasure to be part of the programme this year. I would highly recommend giving it a go either privately or at a school. Snout would come in and be very excited to see us. She loved being able to watch the kids from my knee or curl up beside on of the kids.

Thank you for allowing your much loved pet to visit. We hope to see her again next year.

With work being demanding we haven’t been able to have our own dog.
It’s such a great feeling when you have a play date organized, arriving to a hairy happy face wagging its tail so hard it’s barely staying on all fours!
The dog owners are happy their wee friends are out getting the most from their day, it’s a real win-win for the dogs, their owners, and the carers??

Share my pet has allowed me, someone who longs for a pet, to experience all the joys that comes with owning an anima without the commitment. After building trust between myself, the owners and the animal themselves, it’s as easy as a message (either via the site or phone) to agree on a pick up time and date. Whether it’s to the beach, around the parks or a snuggle at home, it is the highlight of my week and it is all thanks to this wonderful site!

‘Having recently moved to Nelson we heard about Share My Pet and joined up in order to arrange pet sitting for our 2 cats while we went away on holiday. Our kitties prefer their creature comforts and it was just great to be able to connect to someone reliable in our community we could trust. One cat has medical issues and we were very happy with the care she received. Both cats were well looked after, we can highly recommend Share My Pet’

What a great thing Share My Pet has been for me. Always a cat lover and owner but now, at a time in my life where I don’t want the responsibility of a pet, I can share one or two. My daughter is involved with Share My Pet, so when she shares their beloved little doggies, I do too. Walks at the beach, snuggles in the sun and occasionally a sleepover if their owners are away. Our whole family has developed a lovely relationship with the dogs and owners and it is so lovely to be greeted so enthusiastically by my doggy grandchildren. They have added a happy new dimension to my life. Thank you Lili and Dave.

Thank you Share My Pet for putting me in touch with and Pip and Diamond the horse. It is wonderful to have a bit of horse time in my life. This wouldn’t have been possible without you guys. What a great service you are providing for us animal lovers. Thank you❤️ Jane Howley ❤️
