Who doesn’t love coffee and dogs! In a bid to combine two of life’s greatest joys our aim is to offer pet parents and animal lovers pet friendly cafe’s to meet and mingle right across NZ.

Share My Pet is all about sharing the love of pets in your local community. We value the importance of having an established group of animal lovers and pet owners that have each other’s back. In addition to having a real connection and support system within your local community, supporting local cafes and businesses has never been more important than right now.

Share My Pet has reached out to some of the most dog-friendly cafes right across NZ. Together we have collaborated to bring about Share My Pet’s Canine Coffee Club. Cafes onboard will be offering a variety of awesome discounts to Share My Pet Premium Members. This could mean a free pupperchino with any human order. The Canine Coffee Club is all about getting out and about with your furry friend. Perfect if you are on a pet sharing date or a pet parent who loves including their dog on outings. Pop into your local café or try something new when on the road exploring NZ on a dog friendly road trip!

Lead The Way, How Can I Join?

To become part of the Share My Pet Canine Coffee Club you need to become a Share My Pet, Paid Premium Member. Membership can be as cheap as $6.25 per month! Sharing the love of pets means you have made a profile for yourself or for your pet . Select which membership best suits your needs, you can pay monthly or annually.

Premium members have full, unlimited access to the pet sharing messenger system. This means you can communicate with all other members. Arrange pet sharing dates and pet care when needed.

The idea behind the Share My Pet Coffee Club is simple. If you love coffee and dogs it’s a no brainer. We want pet owners and animal lovers to have lots of great and welcoming places to visit with their dogs. The Canine Coffee Club is about creating an easy way to meet your fellow pet sharing community. This could mean you are on a pet sharing date and are hanging out with your new fur friend. Crumb

Crumb is located in Greylynn and has a community vibe that supports local artists and locally made clothes. Fur babies are very welcome and can be treated with a pupperchino (lactose free fluffy for dogs) . Comfy bean bags are provided for lounging in the sun . Your canine buddy even gets their own little bed to chill on.

As part of the Share My Pet Canine Coffee Club every 4 legged visitor gets a FREE pupperchino on the house with any human order.

Wellington

Beach Babylon

The Beach Babylon café is in a gorgeous location right along Oriental Parade. This dog friendly café has it all! In 2019 Share My Pet held their “First Doggy Date event” at Beach Babylon. We were impressed with the hip décor, seaside location, and pup friendly vibe. Beach Babylon has a special menu just for your canine companion to enjoy.

They are offering all Canine Coffee Club members a free doggy biscuit with every human order.

Christchurch

Rollickin Gelato

Rollickin Gelato has three Cafes across Christchurch central & provide the perfect place to satisfy your sweet tooth. They specialize in house made gelato and sorbets. Made fresh each day alongside a cabinet of mouth-watering sweet treats and hot desserts. The whole team absolutely love Doggos. Each cafe provides dog watering bowls and leash clips for you to park your pooch.

Rollickin’ noticed a lot of their regular customers would buy an extra scoop for their dog to lick. This led to the creation of how to make a dog (& human) friendly ice cream flavours. After much research and taste testing, they named a dog friendly flavour. ‘WOOF WOOF’ is whipped up using Peanut Butter and Banana.

WOOF WOOF flavored ice-cream for dogs is available whenever Rollickin’ host a dog walk event. Free dog scoops of ice-cream for dogs in exchange for donations. This is to help raise money for the SPCA.

The Barkery Dog Adoption Cafe: Awaiting completion of premises. 

The Barkery is New Zealand’s first adoption café for dogs. It has created a social space to foster connections between people and local rescue dogs. To show your support visit their Facebook page. See what they are up to, and how you can support them.

The Keg Room

The Eatery and Keg Room has been adored by pooches and people alike for years. New Zealand’s first pub to have an actual doggy menu, the selection of pup delights available is pawsome! Furthermore, the Keg-Room also gets right onboard with hosting annual doggie X-mas parties and other dog friendly events.

Located in Rototuna’s shopping center The Keg Room offer plenty of outdoor seating in a super dog friendly setting.

The Keg Room is offering an awesome 10% all hot & cold (non alcoholic) drinks to members of the Canine Coffee Club.

Hamilton

The Sugar Bowl cafe

Fresh contemporary café with a great busy vibe. Open seven days and fully licensed. Dogs will be warmly greeted upon arrival. You can bet tails will be a wagging to return to this great spot.

Canine Coffee Club members can enjoy a 10% discount on hot drinks when they visit with their furry friends.

Taupo

2 Mile Bay

Two Mile Bay Sailing Club Café: First Saturday of every month between 1-3pm we do Dogs and Grog. Bring your doggo down during that time and buy a Peroni or wine and get FREE PIZZA

Technically they are not part of the Canine Coffee Club but we are happy to include them as a lovely pet friendly place to visit. This licensed café and bar sits right over the lake; in fact the café sits over the water itself with panoramic views across the lake. It’s a nice place to relax with a coffee, wood fired pizza or a drink.

Cromwell

Fusee Rouge Cafe

Fusee Rouge is the café the locals go-to for great coffee, eats and good vibes. Furthermore, they are also animals mad, and love meeting the doggie’s keen to experience café culture with their humans. Fusee café welcomes all four-legged friends on a leash.

Free Pupperchino’s when the humans get a coffee and you are part of the Canine Coffee Club.

Coffee & Dogs- Help Your Community Grow

Over time we hope that the Coffee Club will extend to include several great dog-friendly cafes in every town of NZ. Future plans include setting up monthly Share My Pet meetups for all our members to come along to. The idea is to offer regular opportunities for your furry charges to get together and meet up on a regular basis. The Canine Coffee Club is about making new friends and having fun whilst drinking amazing coffee!
